About

Silje is a photographer and filmmaker based in Oslo. She has more than 10 years experience working in different fields – from photojournalism to commercial photography, with a preference for shooting portraits on location, documentary work, travel, nature and landscapes.

She is inspired by the wild and the unchangeable, the different ways we see the world, and the subtleties and subjectivity of everyday life. The way light moves and the moods of the ocean are her favourite subjects.

Educated in fine art photography from NISS (now Westerdals) and media and communication from HiOA (now Oslo Met). 

She freelances and sells prints of her work on request.
